         The two-day seminar – held on May, 14-15 2014 at the Faculty of Sciences of University Mohammed V-Agdal, Rabat, Morocco- was intended for doctoral students specialising in biology-related disciplines. Participants were pre-selected and represented the leading universities across Morocco. Through interactive discussions and hands-on exercises, the students were expected to develop appreciation and understanding of the security, legal, and ethical concerns arising from the novel advances in modern biotechnology.
