The School is devoted to enrich the background knowledge of young scientists and industrial experts working in the field of turbulence and related topics. The main goal of the School is to encourage transfer of knowledge between the scientific world and the industry, providing scientific support to high-tech industrial applications and, at the same time, acting as an incentive to young researchers to become aware of the needs of the real world industry.

The Summer School is mainly devoted to the relevant aspects of hydrodynamic turbulence in industrial applications. Fundamental aspects of turbulence in different dynamical fields and their applications in industrial processes are covered. A theoretical section will anticipate two selected advanced topics organized in parallel sessions.
The aim of the school is to give the participants scientifically based instruments to cope with the most frequent problems in the applications.
All the topics are of interest to engineers, physicists and mathematicians employed both in industry and in research centres.
